MH370? Is it safe to Fly Airasia or Fly MAS (Malaysian Airlines, MH370, MH17) ?

It is safer to fly Airasia compared to MAS?  MAS does not have good records; MH370 went missing while flying from KL to Beijing. MH17 was shot down flying over the War Zone area in Russia border.

Historical records shows many other mishaps happened to MAS flights since it was incorporated. After studying MAS past records on aircraft crashes, it has been speculated that every 5 years something bad happens.

The old palace on Jalan Istana has been converted into a Palace Museum. Entry Fees to the museum is RM10 for tourist and RM5 for locals.

The Batu Caves in located inside a Cave, formed out of a Limestone Hill. Batu Caves means Stone Cave; batu is a malay word for stone. There are shops at the base of the hill at the entrance area and inside the cave area.

The best time to visit Batu Caves Temple for Photoshoot will be on Thaipusam Day. The religious festival will be most busy for 3 days, that is 1 day before and 1 day after the actual date. The place will be packed with Hindu devotees carrying Kavadis and tourist. Extra stalls setup selling food and other things. You can take the KTM train and stop at Batu Caves station and walk 100m to the temple.

Is KLIA2 safe? KLIA2 or Kuala Lumpur Airport 2 is sinking - Airasia

Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang- Expensive Parking and Far

The Mitsui Outlet Park or KLIA2 Premium Outlet is located just before the KLIA2 terminal. In concept it is a Premium Outlet selling branded items similar to the Johore Premium Outlet. It is basically a F&B and Retail Outltes for branded items which can also be found in Pavillion KL.

The place is too  far from KL center. Even travelling from Seri Petaling (Southern corner of KL) to KLIA2 incurred toll charges of RM16. Travel time will be 60 minutes by MEX Expressway to and from MOP. Besides that the parking is also very expensive. The parking charges is RM2 per hour even on week ends. Hence it will cost you RM8.00 if you park for 4 hours. The 4 hours will just be enough for window shopping and having your lunch / dinner there.

The F&B outlets includes Hidang Restaurant, Coffee Bean, Straits House, The Loaf and other restaurant still renovating. Basically the Food here is expensive and limited choices.

In conclusion, its better to shop in KL provided you're a tourist. Suitable for Tourist doing last minute shopping and provided your tour bus is park outside waiting for you. But even tourist will be spoilt for choices at KLIA2 . KLIA2 has a shopping mall inside and you can just walk to your departure hall after shopping.
